SEO Friendly WebSite
October 30th, 2006 by Shiva
I tried with “how to improve pagerank” in google today and got listed as 16th link, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is key for a site to improve SERP (Search engine results page) as well overall PR of a website. This can be achieved from the validating html pages, to provide alternate text (tooltip) for your images, using appropriate keywords, page name, quality inbound and outbound links.
And if you click on the screenshot you will see that it shows http://www.pagerank0.com/?p=13
and this is crawled couple of days back. Because yesterday, the permalinks of pagerank 0 (zero) dot com is updated to have title as page name than the querystrings!
For “pagerank prediction” search the site is listed as 54th link. This could vary because of different google data centers.

Updated on Oct 30th:
Now you can see instead the query string the complete appropriate smart permalink url.

May I ask you why you are so conserned with you PR?
If you rank on the 16 place for SEO you should be really glad, and instead of waisting time on PR, you should really focus on getting a higher rank. PR is just a number saying NADA.
Hi Advokat,
Thanks for your comment. I will get back to you on your question shortly, meanwhile please go through the other posts when you have time.

Hi Advokat,
The site is about how to get a good page rank and what are all the possible ways to achieve it. If you go through other posts you will notice that what steps are taken and need to be considered for a higher pagerank and as well to get listed top on search engines.
I didn’t mention about the rank and mentioned the position for the keyword “how to improve pagerank” and not SEO. I think we both are mentioning about the position of my site.
PR is just a number, I agree to that to a certain point and that is why I created a site called pagerank0.com : proving to the point that for a site like pagerank0.com it doesn’t matter what the pagerank is but can still be listed on top in search engines and it is fun to see a site called pagerank0 getting PR anywhere between 1-10, isn’t it?.
At the same time, Google indexes based on pagerank too, apart from main things such as the content, popularity and what the site provides. By “higher rank” I think you are mentioning the position of the site, towards which I am working around and wanted to see how the google PR works, whether is it based on outbound links, inbound links and whether the PR helps in anyway to get my site listed on top. In pure words, this is an experimental site and I keep the process open to the public for the same. Again, thanks for visiting us and really appreciate your valuable time and comments. Kindly participate and provide any insights that you think will help the site grow.
Best Regards,
Shiva
